Scientia Agri Institute took the classroom into the lab and the kraal at Mahushe Agricultural High School, running a hands-on artificial insemination demonstration and an introduction to microscopy — giving learners a first look at the science behind modern livestock production.

Scientia Agri Institute recently visited Mahushe Agricultural High School to deliver a practical demonstration in artificial insemination alongside an introduction to microscopy. Learners observed AI techniques first-hand, gaining insight into reproductive management, breeding efficiency and the role of animal science in modern farming enterprises.

The microscopy session introduced them to laboratory equipment and basic specimen work, opening a window into the scientific side of agriculture beyond the field. The engagement gave the school's learners exposure to skills and technologies they seldom encounter in a classroom setting, while showcasing the accredited agricultural training pathways Scientia offers and encouraging interest in agricultural careers and further study.
